What is included in my AFI IX package?
Your AFI IX package includes four nights/five days at our luxury 5-star all-inclusive beachfront host resort in Grenada, access to eight signature AFI events, round-trip airport transportation during the official trip dates, transportation to scheduled AFI activities, and the complete AFI group travel experience.
Two additional premium experiences—the AFI Met Gala Dinner and AFI Boat Party—are available for $50 each.
Airfare is not included.
How much is the deposit, and are payment plans available?
A $300 non-refundable deposit secures your reservation. Flexible payment plans are available through our registration site.
You may pay ahead or pay your remaining balance early at any time. All balances must be paid in full by May 25, 2027.
Registration processing and transaction fees are separate from your AFI package price and are non-refundable.
Are there any discounts?
Yes. Travelers registering by October 15, 2026 are eligible for a $50 Early Bird Discount.
Travelers who pay their entire package price at the time of initial registration by January 1, 2027 receive a $75 Pay-in-Full Discount.
The discounts can be combined for $125 total savings when both requirements are met.
Paying off a payment plan early does not retroactively qualify for the Pay-in-Full Discount.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
The $300 deposit is non-refundable when the traveler cancels.
For eligible payments beyond the deposit:
On or before January 1, 2027: 100% refundable.
January 2–March 1, 2027: 50% refundable.
After March 1, 2027: No refunds.
Processing fees and optional premium-event fees are non-refundable.
If AFI cancels AFI IX for reasons within AFI's control, all monies paid directly to AFI, including the deposit, will be refunded.

Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended but not required.
Coverage will be offered during registration, but you are welcome to compare policies from other providers. We recommend considering coverage for trip cancellation/interruption, medical emergencies, flight delays and other unexpected travel issues.
What do I need to travel to Grenada?
International travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all applicable Grenada entry requirements, including carrying a valid passport and completing required immigration documentation.
Travelers should verify current requirements before departure.
When should I arrive and depart?
AFI IX officially runs Thursday, June 24 through Monday, June 28, 2027.
Our first AFI event begins at approximately 5:00 PM Thursday, so plan your arrival with enough time to clear immigration/customs, transfer to the resort, check in and get settled.
The final scheduled AFI event takes place Sunday night, June 27. There are no formal AFI events Monday; June 28 is departure day.
Resort check-in is 3:00 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM.
Guests arriving before 3:00 PM can store their luggage, receive their resort wristband and enjoy the resort amenities while awaiting their room.
Are airport transfers included?
Yes. Round-trip airport transfers are included for travelers arriving and departing during the official June 24–28 AFI IX dates.
Flight itineraries must be emailed to AuralFixationLive@gmail.com no later than April 1, 2027. Attendees who submit itineraries after that date may be required to provide their own airport transportation. Please promptly report any flight changes.
For guests arriving before June 24 or departing after June 28, AFI will provide best-effort assistance coordinating transportation with the resort when possible. Transportation outside the official dates is not guaranteed.
Can I arrive early or stay after AFI IX?
Yes. Through AFI, you may add up to three nights before June 24 and three nights after June 28, subject to availability and the additional-night rate for your selected room category.
Extra nights can be added after registration but must be arranged through AFI by May 25, 2027.
After May 25, additional nights must be arranged directly with the resort and AFI cannot guarantee its negotiated rates, your existing room category or that you can remain in the same room.
How do roommates and double occupancy work?
Double-occupancy pricing is per person, and travelers arranging their own roommate are responsible for coordinating their reservation.
AFI can provide best-effort same-gender roommate assistance upon request, but matching is not guaranteed.
If your personally selected roommate cancels or fails to pay, you may become responsible for the applicable single-occupancy price unless another eligible roommate is added. Different protections apply when the roommate was arranged through AFI.
Roommate changes through March 1, 2027 require AFI approval and are subject to availability.
Can I choose my room or bed type?
You may choose your available room category and select either one king bed or two beds during registration. Roommates must agree on their bed selection before registering.
Later bed-type changes may be requested but are not guaranteed.
Specific floors, adjoining rooms, room locations, proximity to friends and similar room-placement requests cannot be made.
Do I have to attend all the AFI events?
Absolutely not.
THIS IS A VACATION, NOT A FIELD TRIP.
Your package guarantees access to all eight included signature AFI events, but you decide how you experience your vacation. Attend everything, choose your favorites, relax at the resort or spend time exploring Grenada independently.
How do the optional premium events work?
AFI IX includes two optional premium experiences:
AFI Met Gala Dinner — $50
AFI Boat Party — $50
You can add either or both during registration or afterward, subject to availability and applicable deadlines. Premium-event fees are non-refundable.
If you cannot attend, your spot may be transferred—with AFI approval—to another registered AFI IX traveler who has not already purchased that experience.
When will the themes and full itinerary be released?
AFI IX event information will be released in stages.
You'll receive the overall experience framework first, followed by event themes, attire inspiration and ultimately the detailed itinerary, meeting locations and transportation schedules closer to departure.
And yes—the themes are part of the fun. Participation is encouraged, but not mandatory.
When will the resort be announced?
For now, we're keeping a little mystery in the experience.
AFI IX will be hosted at a luxury 5-star, all-inclusive beachfront resort in Grenada. The official resort reveal is planned closer to the trip.
What happens when I arrive in Grenada?
Your AFI experience begins at the airport.
An AFI Ambassador will welcome arriving AFI travelers at the airport and direct guests to transportation.
At the resort, you'll also have access to a dedicated AFI IX check-in desk, separate from normal resort check-in, where you'll receive your AFI wristband and trip materials.
Travelers arriving before June 24 must wait until the official AFI check-in begins on June 24 to receive AFI credentials.
How will AFI communicate with us during the trip?
Registered travelers will be added to the official AFI IX WhatsApp group before departure.
WhatsApp will be our primary source for announcements, transportation schedules, meeting locations, reminders, itinerary updates and important changes.
Registered travelers will also receive access to a dedicated AFI assistance number staffed by AFI team members and ambassadors.
What if I have dietary, accessibility or other special needs?
Please provide dietary restrictions, food allergies, mobility needs and other accommodation information during registration.
AFI will make reasonable efforts to communicate those needs to applicable resorts, venues and vendors, but specific accommodations cannot always be guaranteed.
Travelers with serious food allergies should also communicate directly with resort and restaurant staff before consuming food or beverages.
Can someone staying somewhere else attend AFI events?
No. AFI IX does not offer party passes.
Participation in AFI IX events is limited to registered travelers staying with the AFI group at our designated host resort.
Registered travelers will receive an AFI IX wristband, which serves as their event credential and cannot be shared or transferred.

Aural Fixation International IX — Grenada
June 24–28, 2027
1. Purpose and Acceptance
These Traveler Policies, Terms & Code of Conduct (“Terms”) establish the conditions governing participation in Aural Fixation International IX (“AFI IX”).
By registering, submitting payment and/or participating in AFI IX, each traveler acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to comply with these Terms.
AFI IX is a 21-and-over experience. No persons under age 21 may register or participate.
2. Package and Reservation
AFI IX is a group travel experience scheduled for June 24–28, 2027.
The package includes four nights/five days of accommodations at the designated host resort, eight included AFI signature events, round-trip airport transportation during the official trip dates, transportation for scheduled AFI activities and other specifically identified package components.
Airfare is not included.
A $300 deposit is required to secure a reservation and is non-refundable except when AFI itself cancels the trip under Section 21.
Registration remains open until May 25, 2027 or until AFI IX sells out, whichever occurs first.
3. Package Pricing
AFI IX package pricing is per person.
Current package pricing is:

Once a traveler completes registration and successfully pays the required deposit, their package price is locked in, subject to subsequent traveler-requested changes that affect pricing.
Changing room category, occupancy, additional nights or optional experiences may change the total amount due.
4. Discounts
A $50 Early Bird Discount is available for qualifying registrations completed with the required deposit on or before October 15, 2026.
A $75 Pay-in-Full Discount is available when the entire package is paid at initial registration on or before January 1, 2027.
Eligible travelers may combine both discounts for $125 total savings.
A traveler who initially selects a payment plan and later pays the balance early does not retroactively qualify for the Pay-in-Full Discount.
No additional promotional or reduced package pricing is planned after these offers.
Discounts have no cash value. Refund calculations are based on the amount actually paid after discounts.
5. Payment Plans and Final Payment
Registration and payments are completed on our separate registration site.
Travelers may make additional payments, pay ahead or pay their balance early.
The entire AFI IX balance must be paid by May 25, 2027.
Registration processing, credit-card, installment or other transaction fees are separate from AFI package pricing and non-refundable.
If a scheduled payment fails or is declined, the traveler is responsible for updating their payment method and bringing the account current.
AFI may provide reasonable flexibility when a traveler proactively communicates at auralfixationlive@gmail.com, but any grace period does not alter the May 25 final-payment requirement.
AFI may suspend or cancel reservations when outstanding payments are not resolved.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
The $300 deposit is non-refundable when cancellation is initiated by the traveler.
Eligible payments above the deposit are subject to the following schedule:
Cancellation on or before January 1, 2027: 100% of eligible payments refunded.
Cancellation January 2 through March 1, 2027: 50% of eligible payments refunded.
Cancellation after March 1, 2027: No refund.
Processing fees and optional premium-event fees are excluded from eligible refundable payments.
Refund calculations use the actual amount paid after discounts.
7. No-Shows and Early Departure
A traveler who does not attend AFI IX without completing an applicable cancellation or approved transfer will be considered a no-show.
No-shows receive no refund or travel credit.
A traveler who voluntarily leaves AFI IX early receives no refund for unused accommodations, events, transportation, premium experiences or other package components.
The traveler is responsible for costs associated with an early departure or changes to their travel arrangements.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Travelers should first contact AFI regarding payment concerns.
If a traveler initiates a chargeback or payment dispute involving a valid AFI IX charge, AFI may suspend the traveler's registration, room assignment, event access and/or reservation while the matter is reviewed.
A legitimate billing error or unauthorized transaction will be handled appropriately. This provision is not intended to prevent travelers from exercising lawful payment-dispute rights.
An unresolved outstanding balance may result in cancellation.
9. Reinstatement
A reservation canceled because of missed or unresolved payments may be considered for reinstatement.
Reinstatement is not guaranteed and is subject to AFI approval and then-current availability and pricing.
A canceled traveler's previous room category, price, occupancy type or other reservation terms are not held or guaranteed.
10. Room Categories, Occupancy and Bed Selection
Travelers select from available room categories during registration.
For double occupancy, the stated package amount is the price per person, not the total room price.
Travelers sharing a room must agree on either one king bed or two beds before registration.
A subsequent bed-type change may be requested but is not guaranteed.
Specific room numbers, floors, adjoining rooms, connecting rooms, proximity to other travelers and other physical room-location requests cannot be made through AFI.
11. Roommates
Travelers may register with their own roommate.
AFI may provide best-effort same-gender roommate assistance upon request, but AFI does not guarantee a match.
Roommate-change requests may be submitted through March 1, 2027, subject to AFI approval and availability. Travelers may not independently rearrange AFI room assignments.
If a traveler-selected roommate cancels or fails to pay, the remaining traveler may become responsible for the applicable single-occupancy rate unless another eligible roommate is approved.
If the roommate was arranged through AFI's best-effort matching process, the remaining traveler will not automatically be charged the increased single-occupancy rate solely because the AFI-arranged roommate canceled. AFI will work with the affected traveler to determine available options based on inventory and circumstances.
12. Room Changes
Room-category upgrades or downgrades may be requested through March 1, 2027, subject to availability.
Any resulting price difference will be reflected in the traveler's balance.
No room-category changes will be accepted after March 1.
13. Additional Nights
Travelers may request up to three nights before June 24 and three nights after June 28 at AFI's negotiated additional-night rate, subject to availability.

Extra-night requests through AFI must be completed by May 25, 2027.
After May 25, extensions must be arranged directly with the resort. AFI-negotiated pricing, room category and the ability to remain in the same room are not guaranteed for independently booked extensions.
Cancellation of AFI-booked additional nights follows the standard AFI cancellation/refund schedule.
14. Loyalty Benefits and Resort Promotions
Hotel loyalty points, status benefits, reward certificates and similar benefits cannot be applied to the AFI IX group reservation or package price.
Any independent resort credits, upgrades, spa promotions or other offers are subject to the resort's rules and are not guaranteed or administered by AFI.
15. Events
The AFI IX experience includes eight signature events. Registered travelers are guaranteed access to those included events.
Attendance is optional.
AFI encourages travelers to enjoy the experience in whatever way works for them:

Travelers may attend all events, selected events, relax at the resort or independently explore Grenada.
Travelers independently exploring Grenada are responsible for their own transportation, excursions, meals and personal expenses outside AFI's scheduled activities.
16. Optional Premium Experiences
Two optional premium experiences are currently planned:
AFI Met Gala Dinner — $50
AFI Boat Party — $50
Premium-event fees are non-refundable.
Travelers may add premium events after initial registration when space remains available.
An unused premium-event reservation may be transferred only to another registered AFI IX traveler who has not purchased that experience, and the transfer must be approved and recorded by AFI.
17. Transportation
AFI provides round-trip airport transportation for travelers arriving and departing during the official June 24–28, 2027 travel period, as well as transportation for scheduled AFI activities.
Flight Itinerary Submission
Flight itineraries must be submitted via email to AuralFixationLive@gmail.com no later than April 1, 2027.
Attendees who submit itineraries after that date may be required to provide their own airport transportation.
Travelers must promptly communicate any changes to their arrival and departure flight information.
AFI will make best-effort attempts to coordinate resort transportation for travelers arriving early or departing late, but transportation outside the official AFI IX dates is not guaranteed.
Travelers who miss scheduled AFI transportation are responsible for arranging and paying for alternate transportation.
18. Flights and Individual Travel Disruptions
Travelers are responsible for purchasing and managing their airfare.
AFI is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, missed connections, rebooking, baggage issues or associated expenses.
AFI will provide reasonable assistance when possible, but missed AFI events caused by an individual traveler's flight disruption are non-refundable.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
19. Arrival and communication
The first event begins approximately 5 PM Thursday, June 24. The final event is Sunday night; Monday is departure only. Resort check-in is 3 PM; check-out is 11 AM. Early arrivals may store luggage, receive resort wristbands and enjoy amenities while waiting. An AFI Ambassador welcomes arriving travelers at the airport. A dedicated AFI check-in desk provides AFI credentials beginning June 24. Registered travelers join the official WhatsApp group before departure. A separate assistance number is provided privately for urgent, service or room concerns; notify AFI staff promptly.
20. Schedule changes and major disruptions
AFI may modify, relocate, reschedule, substitute or cancel activities because of weather, safety, transportation, vendor issues or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Reasonable alternatives will be attempted where possible. A change does not automatically entitle a traveler to a refund. For a major trip disruption outside AFI’s control, AFI will first attempt to reschedule and recover or transfer vendor funds. Any potential refund or credit depends on circumstances and funds recovered.
21. Cancellation by AFI
If AFI cancels AFI IX for reasons within its control, all monies paid directly to AFI, including the deposit and applicable premium-event fees, will be refunded. AFI does not reimburse independently purchased airfare, insurance, baggage fees, independent lodging, excursions or other third-party expenses. There is no minimum traveler requirement and AFI will not cancel solely because a participation threshold is not met.
22. Reservation transfers and waitlist
Reservation transfers require AFI staff approval before execution. Do not sell, transfer or promise a reservation before approval. Outstanding balances and registration requirements must be satisfied. If a room category is full, travelers may request the waitlist. Additional inventory or cancellations may create availability, but joining the waitlist does not guarantee a room.
23. Event credentials and outside guests
No party passes are offered. Event participation is limited to registered AFI IX travelers staying with the group at the designated host resort. AFI wristbands are personal and may not be shared or transferred. Contact the AFI assistance number immediately for lost or damaged bands. Outside visitors who are not registered resort guests are not permitted on resort property.
24. Conduct, alcohol and substances
Travelers must treat other guests and staff respectfully and comply with applicable law and resort, venue and transportation policies. AFI may deny or revoke event participation for inappropriate or disruptive behavior, safety concerns or policy violations. Conduct-related removal does not entitle the traveler to a refund; resulting expenses are the traveler’s responsibility. Guests must drink responsibly. Service or participation may be restricted for intoxication or safety concerns. Smoking, vaping, cannabis and other substances are subject to applicable law and venue rules; illegal substances or violations may result in removal without refund and legal or financial consequences.
25. Personal property and incidentals
Travelers are responsible for personal belongings, incidentals, optional purchases and services outside standard inclusions, and damage they cause. AFI is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged belongings. Shared-room occupants may be jointly responsible for damage where responsibility cannot reasonably be attributed to one individual.
26. Health and accommodation needs
Travelers are responsible for their medical care and related expenses. AFI will make reasonable efforts to connect travelers with medical attention or emergency services. Submit dietary, allergy, mobility and other accommodation needs during registration or contact AFI. AFI will communicate relevant needs but cannot guarantee every accommodation or an allergen-free environment. Travelers with serious allergies should also speak directly with dining staff.
27. Travel documents, insurance and accurate information
Travelers must verify and satisfy applicable Grenada entry requirements and carry required travel documents. Travel insurance is strongly recommended, not required, and offered through our registration site; travelers may compare other providers. Registration information must be accurate and current, with legal names matching passports. Promptly report changes. Costs caused by inaccurate or outdated information may be the traveler’s responsibility.
28. Photography and media
AFI-sponsored events may be photographed, filmed or recorded by AFI staff and authorized partners. A traveler’s image, likeness and voice may appear in AFI promotional, marketing, social media, website and future AFI content. The media release is to be acknowledged separately during registration.
